New ST-40 Brings Big-Part Capability to the Floor

We’ve been turning heads and now we’re turning bigger parts.

This summer, we expanded our shop floor with the arrival of a new ST-40, a heavy-duty machine tool purpose-built for large-diameter, high-torque work. It’s a major investment in capability, and one that opens the door to a whole new class of parts. The kind of parts that demand power, precision, and scale.

Built for Bigger Work

With a max turning diameter of 25.5” and the ability to handle parts up to 44” long, the ST-40 gives us the flexibility to take on more jobs. Whether it’s stainless steel, titanium, or high-performance alloys, this lathe is ready to remove material fast and hold tight tolerances while doing it.

This machine was chosen with intention. We’ve seen increased demand for larger, heavier components across aerospace, energy, and industrial sectors and now we’re equipped to deliver, right here in Central Texas.

Move-In Day: Behind the Scenes

Uncrating and installing a machine this size is no small task and we captured the whole process. From the first forklift to final positioning, the video gives a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring a new machine inside.
